Why Some Are Calling The Electronic Cigarette The Best Invention Ever

The amount of smokers in the U.S. has been dropping steadily, but the warnings that the new family smoking and prevention act requires is just not enough to make a huge difference. Some state the reason is that some people just enjoy smoking, while other have been smoking so long that it has become a part of their identity, and that is a hard habit to break.

Many long time smokers in the United States are feeling the pain from the habit each year as they have been smoking longer, therefore causing more and more harm to their bodies from the combusted tobacco and the 4,000 chemicals they continue to assult their bodies with on a daily basis. So just lack the willpower to quit, some like doing it and some just “accept the fact that they will die a smoker” as one smoker put it. Their salvation may have come in the form of what is called a smokeless cigarette, or e cigarette. They are a new smoking alternative that looks and acts like a cigarette, but just does not have the stuff that kills you according to top health care officials in the U.S.

The electronic cigarette only has about 20 chemicals in the vapor it produces, and these same chemicals are already in tobacco cigarettes, but the amount of these same 20 are at a much lower concentration than tobacco cigarettes. The CDC has stated that tobacco has over 4,000 chemicals compared to the 20 in the e cigarette. A simple remedial course in 3rd grade science will tell any 3rd graded that the electronic cigarette is a much smarter alternative to tobacco cigarettes.

For some smokers, the ability or willpower to quit is just not there for the ones that want to quit, and this is where the smokeless cigarette, or e cigarette comes into play. If they are tired of fighting then maybe the alternative may be just the solution they are looking for. Most harm reduction experts claim that most of the damage from smoking comes from inhaling combusted tobacco deep into the lungs, causing most of the smoking related illnesses. these same harm reduction experts are stating that e cigarettes are 100 to 1,000 times safer than tobacco cigarettes.

They are cleaner, because there is no smoke residue, and they are more convenient because there is no need for an ashtray. They also eliminate the litter problem if millions and millions of cigarette butts all across the globe that are thrown out every year. The cartridges are reusable, so you can cut over 100 cigarette butts for every cartridge that you have with the e cigarette.

E-cigarettes are likewise much less of a fire hazard because they do not combust tobacco and are not hot. They warm up slightly when puffed on, but only emit around 10% of the heat a tobacco cigarette does. This means a user can really put the e-cigarette down anywhere they need to, even in a shirt or jacket pocket. Not only that, but most cigarette users will smoke a complete cigarette even though they don’t want to simply because they do not want to waste it. With e-cigarettes, this obligation is eliminated and as a result of it, many e-cigarette users actually finally end up smoking less.
